I am providing this an edit to my previous review. Nothing changed regarding my experience but I would rather use my situation as a case study and learning lesson for the doctors involved in my care. It would have been very hard indeed to diagnose my condition without the genetic testing I had conducted. Dr. Salgado came in very close minded and did not seem to believe me about my symptoms despite the fact that all my symptoms were witnessed and documented by other neurologists and medical providers. I was experiencing a remission at my visit. I have been vomiting for a year and a half and have lost over 30 pounds. These episodes were severe enough to send me to the ER on multiple occasions. Today I had an 11:30 am appointment with Dr. Salgado. At 12:30, I asked the front desk to find out how long it would be, She indicated another 30 minutes. 1.5 hours is far too long to wait in my book. Not worth it - find another doctor.
Very through initial exam.
My experience with this Dr Efrain Salgado had been outstanding! He treated my mom very effectively and now after 4 years I’ve selected him to treat me!, good listener, shows real interest in your health and makes you feel a great sense of trust in his expertise!
Very average; nothing special. I had very very bad experience with him returning calls which led to a great worsening of my condition. Loves his frequent vacations. Luckily I found much more knowledgeable doctor who also seems to care.
