My moms appointment was at 2 and we are still waiting 1 hour and 15 min later to be seen. The Front desk lady is very unfriendly. Does not have social skills to be at the front desk. Dr. McGill is great! His staff needs customer service training. It would be nice to have the front desk associate smile once in awhile.
Dr McGill is excellent but his office staff is really poor. I've left messages two days in a row about a bleeding blood vessel in my eye and no one has returned my call. The wait time is ridiculous - at least 3-4 hours for less than 15 minutes with the doctor.
I wish this office could improve how they schedule patients, and the "Wait time". From my scheduled appt. time to the time I left the office - it was 3.5 hrs. I asked one of the tech's why the long wait, and she replied "We tell our patients the wait time will be 2 to 3 hours"!! I definitely don't think this should be acceptable.
You will never find a Kinder and more Skilled doctor than Dr. McGill. I was Blind and he took me immediately even though I had no insurance.. betweem hin and God my vision is Perfect!!!
Dr. McGill is an eminence. I was sent to him when I was around 5 months pregnant because I had several hemorrhages in both of my eyes due to aggressive gestational diabetes. Not to mention he was the doctor to figure out that my diabetes was gestational and not previous. He saved me from blindness. This doctor's knowledge goes way beyond his area of expertise.
Had a torn retina 6 years ago & was referred to Dr. McGill. He is AMAZING at his work, and takes adequate time with his patients. My retina has been stable ever since Dr. McGill treated it. Thank you SO much!! I recently moved and haven't been able to find anyone quite like Dr. McGill!
My grandma had an appointment set for 2pm and it's now 4:00pm and she still has not been seen yet! No one seems to be able to tell us why it is taking so long or has even apologized about the wait. It is like this every time, always running late. If you don't want to waste your entire day here I would recommend going somewhere else. A 2hr wait is rude & ridiculous. Also, if you do make patients wait that long a tv or water in the waiting room would be courteous.
Dr. McGill is an dedicated and trustworthy Physician. He has been my Retinal Specialist since I was a small child. I owe my sight first to God and secondly to Dr. McGill.
