Dr. McGill is a great physician!As I understand it, he and Dr. Priluck have such a busy practice because they prioritize patients with acute eye problems that if not treated promptly could lead to blindness and they take uninsured patients who other physicians chose not to see. The wait times are often long, but if you understand the reasons for that, maybe you won't judge them harshly. If you had an acute eye problem that could lead to blindness, wouldn't you hope to be seen ahead of patients with less critical issues?
Waiting 2 hours or more for an appointment is unacceptable. This was consistent the 3 or so times I was there. The office had a sign up saying because it's a speciality office it might take that much time, but in my estimation that's because there were too many people scheduled at the same time. My time is valuable too. I would be fine waiting up to an hour, but anything past that is unacceptable.
Dr McGill and his staff are very trustworthy. He knows a lot of things and I feel confident with him. He is informative and to the point. I have never had a bad experience here. He takes his time to answer all of my questions and concerns! He has helped me a lot with my retinal detachment and explains things very easily about my treatment plan. Dr McGill and his staff are very trustworthy. He knows a lot of things and I feel confident with him as he is also very personable. He is informative and to the point. Misdiagnosed my condition.
I was referred to Dr. McGill by a Neuroopthalmologist that has cared for my eldest daughter for years. Dr. McGill's PA-C had me come same day for a retinal problem. I had surgery the same day and he has followed me since. I highly recommend Dr. McGill.
Dr McGill is very professional. He explains things so you can understand. He is very nice. Just a great experience.
Love him, trust him, he was thorough in explanations along with pictures. But will not choose again to have an appointment and wait 3-4 hours to see him. Don’t know if staff isn’t great or if the docs have told the staff to book upon book upon book. Time frame was way out of order.
