I had LASIK one year ago and it’s still amazing to wake up and be able to see clearly after wearing glasses & contacts for over 20 years! Dr. Manche at Stanford in the Bay Area did a great job. The entire process was smooth and straightforward, and I had no complications. A year later, I have 20/20 vision and am so grateful. LASIK was definitely a success for me.

I had Relex SMILE done in 2021 I chose Dr. Manche over other surgeons because he answered ALL my inquiries patiently, in the exact detail that I required and provided sound reasoning for any claims he made that made sense to me in layman's terms. I am the type of person that needs to know and understand the ins and outs and the why's and how's of everything. If you are a female patient, please be extremely cautious before seeing Dr. Edward Manche. After my surgery on March 13, during the follow-up eye check appointments on March 14, March 21, and July 2, every time the consultation ended, he could not control himself from putting his hand on my back and then stroking down my back while “escorting” me all the way out of the clinic. Dr. Manche did my LASIK surgery December 2023. I just did my final follow-up appointment. My eyes are healthy as can be and I have better than 20/20 vision. Not only is Dr. Manche the BEST, his staff are always so welcoming and helpful. I 100000% recommend Dr. Manche if you are considering laser eye surgery!
