Very challenging dealing with staff! Poorest feedback from doctor ever. Get a second opinion. Moffitt Cancer Center is worth the 2.5 hr drive! (We waited 1 3/4 hrs in the over crowded waiting room day of appointment with him. )
The office is poorly managed, last appointment was over 1 1/2 hours late! The front desk is overwhelmed and doesn’t care about how the office runs. Dr Grandys didn’t have the results of my blood tests which reveal if the ovarian cancer is back! And when you sign for permission for the exams, no one looks or cares about what you wrote- Dr does whatever he wants- no attention to the permission slip! 2 plus hour waiting room stay on our initial visit sure doesn’t inspire much. I hope they’re better at cancer management than scheduling.
I was referred to Dr Grandes for a hysterectomy due to a large fibroid. I felt very comfortable at our consultation appointment and scheduled the surgery two weeks after that. His office, the hospital staff and the surgery handled the entire procedure smoothly. i have never had a surgery such as this and didn’t know what to expect. Had no issues or complications, the scar looks good and I recovered very quickly. Highly recommend Dr Grandes, Wonderful doctor, great personality and a skilled surgeon!
Dr. Grendys is an extraordinary surgeon who will fight for his patients when others have given up hope. He is direct and honest, never sugarcoating the reality of the situation, but this makes him a trustworthy and compassionate advocate.
