The Dr. is gonna ask me how I feel about antibiotics then I go on to tell him I don’t ingest them, I have a terrible reaction and the side affects are worse than what I went to the doctor for. He’s gonna look me in my face and say “what if you get a deadly infection?” I then proceeded to say anything topical I will use but I will not swallow any antibiotics pills. I walked out of the office with the bib on. I was in shock. I am a cash paying patient. I paid $100 for a consult that left me anything other than speechless. This dilapidated office with technology from 1980 didn’t hold just anti esthetics in appearance but staff that told me “go there then”. I was quoted $200 less from a downtown sophisticated cosmopolitan office whereas Dr Poras wanted more money. Insulting? Shocking! Had two root canals done about 15 years ago. Have not had any issues. Dr. Porras is a fantastic specialist. I still would be going to him if I hadn't moved out of state.
