He takes his time and listens. I like to be a BIG part of my healthcare decisions and prefer homeopath toand lifestyle cahanges rather than just using manufactured drugs. I have had several or many appointments and interactions with Dr. Hickey,. He is always friendly, honest, and right on track with his diagnosis and tests, he brings a wealth of knowledge and is very personable.
Dr Hickey is an awesome caring doctor. He actually listens to me and I believe he cares about his patients.
Dr Hickey is very thorough. He was active in followup of a problem with an infected elbow. He sent me straight back to emergency after they had released me. I trust him completely.

I have had two appointments with Dr. Hickey and his office was on time, he was very thorough, he gave me follow up paperwork of everything discussed, and the MyHR online portal is very helpful. I am very happy with Dr. Hickey.
It may sound dramatic, but I’m probably alive because of Dr. Hickey. I had a persistent cough for nearly 2 1/2 months and was attributing it to the flu going around. Dr. Hickey kept probing and asked me if I was experiencing any swelling in my ankles. I was in fact having swelling but forgot to mention it because it was the cough that was bothering me not the swelling. He ordered a CT and an Ultrasound. Guess what- the CT showed I had numerous clots in my lungs. Absolutely recommend this guy!
