I cannot recommend Dr. Dwight Im and his entire team at Mercy Medical Center highly enough. From our very first meeting, Dr. Im provided a level of expertise and calm confidence that immediately put me at ease. What I appreciated most was his bedside manner; in a situation that felt overwhelming, he made me feel medically normal rather than 'difficult' or 'unique.' Worst physician Ive ever seen. I felt like cattle as he schedules about 5 other patients at the same time as you, call you all back, examines you all one after the other, then has you come in his office. Office staff is rude and uncaring. He changed my surgical plan and did not discuss it with me - during the surgery there were complications. He took no photos, he did not answer my questions after the surgery. I could not book a surgical follow up appointment with him because he had no appointment slots and his receptionist ... read more
At first I had a very difficult experience with Dr. Im. At my appointment, I felt like cattle as he schedules about 5 other patients at the same time as you, call you all back, examines you all one after the other, then has you come in his office. Office staff is rude and uncaring. However, in the end I did ultimately feel hear and respected . The trick is separating him from his staff. His nurse is quite rude and dismissive.
