Highly recommend!! Took my elderly mom here who has kidney disease and Dr. Rao takes her time, answers all our questions and we never feel rushed. Dr. Rao and her staff make us feel welcome and they genuine care about moms well being.
I never knew about my father’s declining kidney function from his PCP until he went from level 3A to level 3B at which point I asked for a referral. Dr. Rao has been great answering all our questions about my dad’s kidney disease. As a bonus, she even helped with his edema swelling in his legs with a prescription of lasix - and further bonus has removed one of his heart medications he’s been taking for years because his blood pressure has come way down. An incompetent and neglectful physician. Dr. Rao is a disgrace to the medical profession.
My Grandmother was a patient of Dr. Rao for years. In August of 2023, my Grandmother experienced a seizure and was diagnosed with Stage 5 kidney failure on a follow-up appointment in October. Dr. Rao never informed my Grandmother or Uncle of the decline of her kidneys until she was at Stage 5. Never mentioned, at the time, the early stages 1, 2, 3, and 4 and what could be done to slow the decline of her kidneys. Why wasn't it mentioned at stage 2 for example?
