Such horrendous reviews about Dr. Canlas. He was my doctor when I was with Kaiser. I left because Kaiser tightened down on FMLA requests, etc. Anyhow, Dr Canlas was a very mindful doctor. Instead of resorting right away to meds, he would recommend healthy natural remedies such as advocating for Forks Over Knives type of diets so you won't have to drinks statins and risk yourself of getting diabetes. It saddens me to see the Negative Reviews that do not show that this Doctor was himself wronged and victimized. To those of you who lost money, I am sorry!!! This man has so much integrity as a Doctor! If you had him as a Doctor, you felt like finally, a Doctor who cares! He was taken advantage of in such an awful way! The doors were forcibly closed. I see that there are negative reviews on Dr. Doug Canlas, but I can assure you that he did not take your money/charts and run. He is an outstanding Physician and moral doctor. You need to look at the doctor that left things behind. There’s a lot more than you are aware of and I’m very sorry to see him go through this because it has totally tarnished his reputation. One of the best Doctors I ever had. Takes the time to explain things and does not try to drug you up to mask pain. Tries natural remedies as well.
