Dr. Goldsmith is an expert in child therapy, with specialization in trauma, attachment, and high-conflict family dynamics. His work is AFCC-informed and grounded in effective, evidence-based approaches. He has a remarkable ability to help parents and children reconnect and move forward in a more stable, healthy way. I highly recommend Dr. Goldsmith for families seeking expert support.

Dr. Goldsmith was an incredible support for our family during a truly traumatic and difficult time. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure my children felt safe, heard, and supported. My experience with Dr. Doug Goldsmith was absolutely terrible. I have never met a more unprofessional therapist in my life. He is arrogant, clueless about what he’s talking about, and will take personal shots at you whenever he feels offended. When issues were brought up, he made direct negative remarks about me. From my experience, he constantly projects his own unresolved fears and anger onto clients. Honestly, save yourself the time and money — do not see him.

I was witness to Dr Goldsmith work with two children close to me in a very difficult situation which no child should be in. In my opinion, Dr Goldsmith was “child first”. I was impressed with the level of care he exhibited and his ability to navigate a difficult situation maintaining professionalism when it wasn’t shown to him.

“My son seems to like him” was the feedback I received from the parent whose child sees Dr. Goldsmith. I wanted to get my son started with therapy. I used the “Contact Us” link on his website. Never received a call, an email. Very unprofessional
