We loved our dentist and the assistants - hate the billing department. They are either incompetent, dishonest, or both. We finally left Platinum Dental after multiple incidences of being overbilled because the individual provider was new and, even though PD accepted our insurance, the new dentist wasn't on the approved provider list. The last straw was when we prepaid to have our daughter's wisdom teeth pulled and were subsequently billed an additional several hundred dollars because the oral surgeon was "out of network" ... read more

I used to love this dentist office and have fond memories of my kids getting their cleanings here over the years. I have dental insurance through work that fully covers preventative checkups and cleanings. I visited Platinum Dental for a routine checkup and cleaning to continue with my dental care plan. During my visit, I discovered that the front office manager is someone I know from a previous workplace. Worst Dentist! As someone who has clinical experience in the dental field for over 10 years, this is NOT the office NOR the dentist to see. His work is sloppy and most often has to be redone. He is negligent in diagnosing active infection and his patients have ended up in the ER or hospital for sepsis. Assistants are new and lack experience. My experience with Dr. Remington exposed some troubling practices that I think others should be aware of. He’s nice enough but that’s not a reason to stay with a dentist. Here’s what I saw and experienced. The office is moderately clean. There are very few people as Dr. Remington runs a one-man-show. Outside of the receptionist who was so kind, there was an assistant that just took X-rays and held the sucker thing.
