Unprofessional, egotistical, dismissive. Three words I feel sum this provider up perfectly. During a December visit for a covid screen he overheard me talking to someone about a local mask mandate and took it upon himself to lecture me about his credentials and his opinions on the constitutionality of the mandate, as if that were pertinent. This last weekend my 9 year old was seen by one of his providers and the course of care sent us to the ER erroneously, earning us a huge bill. Our pediatrician specifically pointed out it... read more

I’ve had a few run ins with Dr. Rice. Several years ago, his X-ray technician uttered “oops” while operating the machine. I simply brought it to his attention and was bullied and talked over like I was wrong to question him or his technician. Went to his clinic for Covid testing and was told results could take 24-72 hours, possibly longer. The clinic down the street was offering immediate results, I later learned. Upset that I hadn’t heard anything by day three, I called. The call ended early. I followed up with comments to ... read more

I went for several years to Dr. Rice's clinic and was very happy with the treatment the staff gave there. However, when I attempted my most recent visit on 10/31 I was told that they no longer send out billing statements for balance due bills after going through insurance. Instead they bill your card three days later. I'm sorry but I for one do not believe in this, as I have a daughter who went through 2 1/2 years of treatments for luekemia which included two bone marrow transplants. During that time I had several providers ... read more

Excellent clinic. I've seen all the providers here and they always listen and take their time with me and my family. Dr Rice is extremely thorough and incredibly knowledgeable. He is able to pick up on symptoms, medications that may be interacting, he is just that good of a doctor. And the staff are caring to my family and kids!

He was good to my kids but one of the women that answers the phone sounded like a younger person bc she was far from a lady and very unprofessional. I just called to ask wby they did not send a PA in and she was very rude. I GUARANTEE IF I WAS FACE TO FACE WITH HER SHE WOULD CHANGE THAT TONE

Dr. Rice was very unprofessional and rude. My mom felt very disrespected when he came barging in the room & being very loud. He was very judgemental about my mom's symptoms and turning it around and saying people have physiological problems and tend to over exaggerate the symptoms. If my mom knew her diagnos she would have went to the ER instead of wasting her time to go urgent care. He made the situation uncomfortable and made her felt like she was not a patient. Never coming back or recommend

Great doctor! Very knowledgeable, congenial and accommodating. He really takes his time. talking with patients about their conditions. The staff is very kind and helpful when you have questions. And, the clinic itself is so pretty and warm and inviting. This is NOT your typical get in/get out quickly clinic. Time, talking and care is important here.

Dr. Rice was condescending and terribly rude. I couldn't recommend him less. Although I've had excellent experiences with the other providers, I'll never return to Urgent Care Clinic of Lincoln and tell others not to visit.

He was horrible. I came in on a weekend with severe pain that had developed over night. Worst pain I'd ever felt. He had the demeanor of an interrogator, treating me like a drug-seeking addict rather than a new patient in terrible pain, Why? Because I hadn't yet tried to contact my regular doc, who's office was closed. Doesn't one go to an urgent care facility when the need is, you know... urgent? I cut the visit short, left, and went to Linc-Care, where nobody treated me like a criminal.
