Awful experience AWFUL !!!! My father passed away at this hospital just a week ago. It was very unexpected. Thankfully, my mom and brother left because about 5 minutes later the billing rep came by to get some information. First of all, we were in the family waiting room and another doctor later told us that they should not have come into this room at all. money making fast. I went to this hospital ER with extreme abdominal and pelvic pain. It was a first time and a last time(to this hospital) in my life. Waiting time was not bad, just few minutes. I felt that this doctor was not listening to me. He ordered a lots of tests and X rays and blood work and other exams,that were not necessary but left out one ,most important test, stool test. The Worst Hospital to Have a Baby I went into labor on 12/28/07. I'm writing this because I want all people to know how I was treated at this hospital in hopes you will avoid it, and protect your health rather than just accept what a doctor tells you. I have three children my third child who was born here may have lifelong complications due to his delivery. I will be looking into legal advice. WORST HOSPITAL IN TAMPA My mother was in a bad car accident on March 9th 2012 and was rushed to brandon hospital. NEVER have i experienced worse service. 1) the ambulance took their time getting her to the hospital (25 minutes to go 10 miles) (I arrived before they did). 2) the hospital staff said they would let me know when she arrived and they did not which caused her to be alone after a very traumatic incident for at least 30 min. 3) She was profusely bleeding from her face and no one gave her so much as a napkin to slow ... read more
Excellent contact lens care After wearing contact lenses for many years, I consulted Dr. Lesser about multifocal contact lenses. After clearly explaining the options to me, he patiently fitted me with a variety of lenses made by different manufacturers over a period of several weeks, allowing me time to try wearing samples of each. nice staff but terrible communication Hospital did not call us with preop information or instructions as we were told they would. We waited and waited the day before and never got a call, finally about 8pm the night before surgery we called ourselves and were told everyone had gone home for the evening but someone in the OR was able to tell us the surgery time had been moved up 2 hours. Had we not called on our own we would have been 2 hours late the next morning for surgery. We do have a nurse in the family who was able to ... read more
Registerd Nurse Will never use this facility again. The post op instructions and follow appointments were poorly explained and the day surgery department had the feeling of in and out.
