Office Staff is to be avoided!!!! Dr. Lesser is nice & knowledgable but his office staff leaves a lot to be desired! The clerk insisted I didn't know my own insurance (got a letter- she was wrong) and they kept me from my daughter. When I finally pushed through the elderly assistant woman 50 minutes later (& I had been asking how she was) I found my daughter sobbing! Then when I called back days later to reschedule they told me,"the doctor thinks she should wait six months until she's calmed down." RUDE!! My daughter just wa... read more
Lesser Donald Y Md - Samaritan Eye Care is the best! Wow, what a difference! After removing a piece of metal from my eye, the doctor made sure I recovered fully. He and his staff made me feel so cared for. Later, I returned for a complete exam and he updated my eyeglass prescription. He's got a gal that made me an awesome pair of sunglasses for a great price and changed the lenses in my regular glasses, saving me money again! I can't say enough about this office. Labor and Delivery My daughter was born at Good Samaritan, and I had an amazing experience here. We arrived at 430am at the ER and because I had preregistered and called ahead, I was put straight into a wheelchair and brought to my labor room. The rooms are private and very spacious and comfortable, not just for me but for visitors as well. I had two nurses throughout my delivery and both of them were so caring and helpful, I never even had to ask for anything. Labor and Delivery I read the earliest review for this ward and I was surprised. I had such a different experience. I had my son on May 3,2008 and I felt that all of the nurses went well beyond their job description. I felt so unclean from the whole labor part and they were so caring and would clean me very frequently. As soon as I needed pain meds they were there.I am a first time mother and felt that the nurses answered all of my questions and concerns and were more than willing to help me with my son. Disappointed and Angry - Mother and Baby Unit We had our first baby at Good Samaritan during the last week of December. I do not know whether it was because it was the end of the year and only bad nurses were available or that was the overall quality of the Mother and the Baby Unit, but we had an overall below average experience here. 1) My wife's water broke at 12AM, so we had to go inside via the Emergency room. Great place for oncology patients This hospital is great for oncology patients. They know what they are doing and the staffs are so knowledgeable and helpful. The place is also clean. Nurses here answer their call lights promptly which I liked.
Not the average Urgent Care Urgent Care clinics conjure images of long waits and dour employees, but Good Samaritan has really changed the face of emergency care. Our family has needed Urgent Care services for a number of different accidents in the past couple of years and the staff at Good samaritan is always pleasant and efficient.
