Excellent contact lens care After wearing contact lenses for many years, I consulted Dr. Lesser about multifocal contact lenses. After clearly explaining the options to me, he patiently fitted me with a variety of lenses made by different manufacturers over a period of several weeks, allowing me time to try wearing samples of each. When the initial attempts did not produce the visual acuity I desired and he demanded, Dr. Lesser persisted in trying new combinations until we were both satisfied with my vision. His gentle humor... read more

Horrible In-patient Phychiatric Care I was admitted to Good Samaritan Psychiatric care due to a suicidal attempt and feeling unsafe. When you are admitted, you get an intake doctor to talk with you and make you feel safe, and also prescibe medication. The night I got there was a Friday night, so I would not see a doctor until the next day. I didn't sleep, and couldn't take any medication until the doctor met with me. The next day my docter, Cecil Bradley, asked me to "give him the skinny" story about you. I went to a private... read more

Disappointed and Angry Christy C.s husband was lucky, I had no such luck. I was taken by ambulanceafter breaking my "wrist" to Good Sam. 2 X-ray views later I was told I had a bad break of my radius and needed surgery. The discharge paper said to follow up with an ortho. surgeon within 48 hrs.,and upon review by the radiologist for transcription if there is anything noticed differently, I will be immediatly notified. I WASN'T!!! The ortho. I was told to see wouldn't see me untill I could come up w/$500.00(no insurance). The n... read more

Good Samaritan Hospital discriminates. I went into the Emergency department Monday morning about 8:30 am. I got in right away. The Doctor then asked why I was there and not at Valley Medical Center because I have no insurance. He asked me if I just wanted to avoid the wait at Valley Medical Center, if so, there is nothing they (being good sam) can do. I went in for a severe flank pain. (I have had kidney infections in the past) They put an IV in me, the refused to give me pain meds, they said they wanted to wait results of a... read more

Disappointing Writing as the concerned close relative of a 90 year old patient I have been consistently disappointed and inconvenienced by this hospital The 3 emergency room experiences I observed were bad. Staff would come in to talk to the patient in a distant manner, tell her they would return to do something in 5 minutes, and vanish for 40 minutes. Only one nurse of the 9 staff people I saw introduced themselves by name or conversed in anything beyond a bored or condescending manner. When I questioned what was (not) occu... read more

They rip you off Very bad experience. They told me some amount before the service then they just kept billing me over and over. the operation was very common with no complication but the final amount was almost double what they initially told me. don't get fool wiht their false estimation. just go wiht El Camino. I don't recomment this hospital to anyone.
