First time seeing this doctor and he was very rude, dismissive and condescending. Made me feel inferior when all I was looking for was effective treatments for my pain. His partner is MUCH nicer

Dr. Diverio performed knee surgery on me in 2018. I was very happy with his attentiveness and his ability to walk me through the procedure. The surgery was difficult, but that was communicated to me in advance. My recovery was better than expected. Great doctor overall.

Dr. Diverio explained in depth how this issue is caused, the treatment options and showed concern for my health and well being. I have had an issue with trigger finger 2 years prior and Dr. Diverio performed my surgery for that and did an amazing job. I have not had any issues since he treated me. I will not go to any other Doctor for these issues but him. Highly recommended.

Told me not worth his time or $$ to do my surgery. Two tears in rotator cuff. Need open surgery not orthoscopic said go somewhere else. Left feeling lost and in pain. Got in with Geisinger Danville.

Dr. Diverio was extremely professional and attentive to my 89 year old Mother’s needs. He could not have been more accommodating and rearranged his own schedule to ensure my mother was able to have her surgery as soon as possible with minimum OR delay issues. He made frequent pre and post operative visits and was extremely patient and considerate. His repair of her broken hip went smoothly and she had minimal discomfort. Highly recommend.

Dr. Diverio was very demeaning, judgemental, short-tempered, curt, ill-mannered, and uncaring. He was dismissive of the detrimental pain that is affecting the patient and refused to appropriately manage that pain which is preventing the patient from completing activities of daily living and the physical therapy necessary to assist in recovery from the injury which is already chronically irritated.

Business response:

We're sorry to hear of your experience. If you'd like to discuss this further, please email us at mystlukes@sluhn.org. Thank you, St. Luke's Reputation Management Team.

Contrary to the other reviews on this site, my experience with Dr Diverio has been excellent He does have a unique personality, but his expertise is unquestionable. I have had multiple, multiple! bone and joint issues for the most of my adult life and forprobay the last 25 years he has been my physician. He isn’t my buddy, but as a physician I would choose him first for any orthopedic problem. If he believes I’d be better served by someone who is more specialized, he is very willing to refer

Met Dr. Diverio in ER when my son broke his arm. It was sticking up at 45 degree angle and we were told surgery was a possibility. Although he was kind to us, he was short tempered with the ER Staff. Follow up visits were short and sweet. I felt belittled when asking questions. Was left with strong impression that he should not be questioned. Several requests to view the x-rays in the exam room with him to ask questions were ignored. I'm left wondering if my son got the correct treatment.

Dr. Diverio takes time to answer any questions. He explained in terms I could understand what would happen during and after surgery. Shows genuine concern for patients.
