She seemed bothered by my questions. I am surprised she works at a teaching hospital, because she doesnt take the time to teach, but rather lecture about how she was going to do the surgery. I was concerned by her answers because it does not seem to be with new technology or how other vascular surgeons would approach surgeries. I felt my concerns did not matter, I was just a patient who asked questions and she is just used to people accepting whatever she tells them.
Dr. Fano patiently addressed my health concerns and clarified my misconceptions. We further explored future care decisions that I may need as a senior.

Yearly physical with Dr Fano who always answers all questions, works on solutions and never forgets follow ups. Would never see anyone else!
Ignored my pleas for help when I had a severe pulmonary embolism. Ushered me out of her office. A week later at another hospital I spent 4 days in hospital and was told I was livky to be alive. When she was advised, no apologies nothing except a letter saying s gg e would no longer treat me. Her office is poorly run and the worst thing is that she trains residents so there are more incompetent doctors coming.
Both my Mercy doctors are very informative and caring!
Doctor was very friendly, informative, took time to answer my questions and isn't rushing into any option until more tests are done.
