I had foot surgery on Dec 1, 2023. On the weekend Dr. Rizzo called to check up on me. Also very concerned about how I'm feeling. Making sure I'm not in any pain. The whole doctor office is so kind and patient. He truly wants the best for his patients.
Absolutely wonderful doc. Super bedside manner. Trains other docs in foot surgery and constantly keeps himself up-to-date on new methods. Personally, I had what looked like two right feet after an accident, along with a lisfranc injury. He was able to repair my foot totally back to normal with plates, staples, pins and a fusion in order to prevent future pain. All the choices he made allowed me to walk and run normally with no pain, discomfort or swelling. Another doctor I visited before Dr. Rizzo told me I'd forever have sw... read more
My husband has been his patient for wound care as well as foot problems. You will not find a more caring doctor. Always takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. Fabulous bedside manner!
I have had achilles pain since High School. The diagnosis was Haglunds Deformity, Insertional Achilles Tendinitis. My Podiatrist recommended me to Dr. Rizzo for surgery. The surgery performed was removal of excess heel bone, defibering of tendon and speed bridge suture for attachment. It was a huge success for me! I am able to return to running and basketball with zero pain. Before surgery, I had pain just walking into work. Dr. Rizzo obviously did a great job on the surgery but he also was a great person to talk to. He trea... read more
I have been seeing Dr. Rizzo for close to 23 years now and I highly recommend him. He has done 3 surgeries on my feet and he is patient and kind and explains everything he is doing or going to do in an easy understandable way. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my feet or legs but Dr.Dom Rizzo!!!!!
Dr. Rizzo is great! The problem I have is the delay in getting my inserts, called every week and it sounds like they have been lost. My pain is extreme and I am at a loss.
(CONCLUSION) for his patients (confirmed by conversations I had with others in the waiting room). When I was called back and told my wait in the patient room would not be that long as Dr. Rizzo only had one more patient ahead of me I made my decision not to proceed with the appointment. I will find a doctor that has more respect for others and their time.
As a patient since 2005, Dr. Rizzo's caring bedside manner and dedication to perfection for his patients is second to none among his those in his profession.
I have been going to to this practice for 19 years and Dr. Rizzo is the reason why. Three surgeries on my feet, diabetic foot care, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Rizzo takes time with you making sure you understand everything and he remembers the stuff you told him from the last visit! Best foot doctor around I recommend to all my friends and family!!!!
