When I finally found Dr. Sengupta, I had tried everything to ease the pain and tiredness that I was dealing with. I would barely make it through the work day and would be so tired that I would collapse in my recliner as soon as I was home. Dr. Sengupta performed a surgery to correct my severe scoliosis on May 9, 2016. Basically, he performed a miracle and gave me my life back. It has been great to have energy and be able to enjoy my family and my job (teaching students) again.
I had the very best results with Dr. Sengupta's treatment. I fell and crushed a disk in my back. I was barely able to move when I saw him the first time. He did a procedure where a balloon is inserted into the crushed disk and inflated until the disk is back to normal size, then bone cement is injected. After it sets up, the procedure is finished. It took about 45 minutes, and I left the hospital with about 90% reduction in my level of pain. Several months later, I'm totally pain free!
When arriving at the appointment, I was told to bring my MRI CDs with me so that he could go over them with me; however, when he saw me his approach was, 'I will review this and call you afterwards to go over the results and recommendation.' The staff was discriminatory and just outright to rude. Although that staff member is no longer there, the behavior allowed by the office that first visit was unacceptable and so was the doctor's attention. Not to mention the 1 hour wait.
He is a great Dr. He takes his time to explain everything and is very concern about his patients. And had a great team
