I saw Dr. Diane Kwan in June 2025 for a suspected hernia above my belly button. She diagnosed an umbilical hernia and confirmed it with an ultrasound, which clearly identified the hernia in the exact area where I had pain and a visible bulge. I’m going to try and not get emotional while typing this review…Dr. Kwan performed a hernia surgery on my husband last month. This is the second hernia repair he has gone through. The first surgery was performed 7-ish years ago by a different doctor. That surgery and recovery was horrible. The hernia was huge and in a bad area. Instead of an hour surgery it turned into a 4 hr surgery. My husband woke up screaming from the pain he was in. I honestly just love Dr Kwan she is an amazing human being she is kind, gentle and understanding . She truly cares about her patients . She did my gastric bypass and I’m feeling amazing and it’s only been 24 hours! I highly would recommend her. If you see this thank you so much Dr Kwan you’ve changed my life forever . I’m so ready for this new journey I am on and I couldn’t have done it without you ! You are a gift from God thank you !

My experience with Dr. Kwan has been nothing short of amazing. From our pre-op visits to being almost 1 month post -op, she has been available and informative. I had absolutely no complications and my incisions are healing wonderfully. I can’t thank her enough for helping me become my best self!
