Well-run office, friendly and professional staff, and Dr. Pateder (as well as Ms. Cournoyer) both seem to be very knowledgeable, intelligent and have excellent "bedside manners".
I have carried my current thoracic spine situation for over three years and the onset of disc herniation L5 S1 since November 2017. I have seen several pain specialists and surgeons but none have been as open and honest as Dr. Pateder. I look forward to a successful surgery on my lumbar and continue to consult with him for my thoracic compression fractures. I was in bad in shape over the weekend and dialed the on-call and got transferred to April. She was calm, respectful and helpful. Thank you
Very warm and gracious person. Explained the procedures to be performed, and answered all my questions. The procedures went well, and I had little discomfort afterwards. Post operative consultations - provided guidance on recovery process, and was very helpful in setting expectations.
My follow up appointment was great. I arrived early and I was seen before my appointment time. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and answered all of my questions. This is an atmosphere that leaves me feeling even better than when I arrived! I highly recommend them.

After having several surgeries and a back infection while seeing another Dr. I was still in pain, not able to walk far, developed permanent foot drop and told that he could no longer do anything for me. My daughter, who is a nurse, found Dr. Pateder for me. He looked at my films and knew within minutes with confidence what had to be done. I had the surgery and I am not longer in severe pain and my walking has improved. I am forever grateful to Dr. Pateder and his staff for my life back.
I am trusting Dr Pateder to do my spine surgery. Hoping for a good out come. I will keep you posted. My insurance co. is taking their time getting the surgery approved and his office is staying right on top of everything. Thanks!
