Dr. Ashong cared for my Mom at Kennestone ER. She has mild dementia & was convinced she had part of her hearing aid stuck in her ear. He was very patient & spoke kindly to her without demeaning her. He also took the time to speak to me privately & said how much he appreciated working with such an attentive caregiver. As a caregiver both his respectfulnesss towards my Mom & his kind words for me were very appreciated.
Had the privilege to have Dr. Derrick N. Ashong, as my physician while receiving treatment at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital ER in Marietta. Dr. Ashong has a wonderful bedside manner, he very patiently and compassionately extracted the details of my issue. In His analysis of my situation, he considered every plausible possibility and a through examination to arrive at his conclusion and diagnosis.
