He is the BEST...in terrible pain going under the knife...completely out of pain after he operated...BRILLIANT DOCTOR and COMPASSIONATE !!!

Dr. Dennis Burke is an excellent surgeon. I am an Orthopedic surgeon and have seen him operate. I would trust him with my own hip.

Dr. Burke was recommended to me by my doctor for second opinion and he performed a total left hip surgery in 2004 and a total right hip in 2011 both went very well and am pleased and refer him to any one who is in need. Thanks to him my quality of life has been increased ten fold. I have total mobility, am pain free and take no medication whatsoever.

I also was told by several surgeons that it was time for a hip replacement. Luckily, I worked in a hospital for 20 years and was pre-med before deciding to go another way. My ability to research is still excellent and ANY orthopedic hip surgeon that is not offering hip resurfacing as an option to consider is someone who should be treated with suspicion. Had a total hip replacement last summer. Dr Burke lived up to my high hopes. I received a fantastic new hip with no complications. Am pain free and doing everything I wish, with NO discomfort!! Before the surgery and during one of the office visits, it became clear that his office staff are u happy people. Very very rude ladies. Don't let the atmosphere there affect your decision about a Dr. Burke operation. He is fabulous.

If you are considering hip surgery, I would recommend you to see someone else. I saw Dr. Burke regarding hip replacement. During the consultation I asked him about hip resurfacing. He proceeded to tell me this would be a poor choice with potentially disastrous outcome (he mentioned, with sketches, how resurfacing had been done and how it had failed ). Dr. Burke just did my right hip. He is top notch in what he does, both called and emailed me directly, and his staff, while no nonsense, professional. His practice is extremely busy, and I feel great after only six weeks post op. He is a surgeon, he fixes the often unfixable, he isn't a therapist nor has time to hang out with his patients. His focus is surgery and the best possible outcome. Thanks Dr. Burke, see you when the knees go!!!!

I was in a motorcycle accident in 1984 which left me in a coma. Part of my injuries included my right leg was broken in three places. The tibia, fibia, and femur. It was so bad that the people who responded to the accident told me that my bones were sticking out of my jeans, which they had to cut off of me. Waited 6 months to have knee replacment seemed the Doc was to busy. Finally got the knee done after numerous complaints about pain, Dr Burke said " Nothing wrong with that knee" I had a xray showing the knee was off a center meter & seperating from the bone. The guy didnt care after he got payed.
