Dr. Chang and his staff were very pleasant and timely/ Dr. Chang put my mind at east about my hip surgery. I have received many good recommendations about Dr. Chang. I am a surgical nurse and work with may orthopedic surgeons.
Dr. Chang performed my first knee replacement with the minimally invasive technique 13 years ago. People were amazed at the tiny incision-about 3"-and at my complete recovery. I had my second knee replaced the following year, and it went even better than the first. I have seen him every year for follow-up, and my new knees continue to perform extremely well. Dr. Chang's staff is very personable and show a genuine concern for your wellbeing. Dr. Chang also takes the time to listen to your concerns regarding your issues and doesn't try to hurry you up to get to his next patient. I've been a patient for many years and would highly recommend Dr. Chang.
Dr. Chang replaced my hip two months ago. This was the third joint replacement he has performed for me. All three joint replacements went perfectly. I have had virtually no pain and have regained full functionality. I highly endorse Dr. Chang. He is an outstanding surgeon.
Dr Chang has replaced both of my knees and I trust him. Several friends and family have become a patient and all have had favorable results.
Waited no longer than 5 minutes in waiting room, and no longer than 5 minutes between physician and associated visits. Total in and out time, including time for an injection was just under an hour.
Had a total knee replacement March 9th, before the corona virus bloomed. I got out of Rose Hospital on the 11th just in time to recuperate and shelter at home. No problem at all with the incision, i. e. - no infection, as I have heard about some people having with other doctors. It is SO nice o walk again without pain in every step. The first two weeks of recovery are a doozy, but I should not have put this operation off for so long. Dr Chang lived up to my expectations. I was referred to him by my primary doctor who had knee surgery performed by him with very positive results. Dr Chang and his team were very patient, caring, and thorough in explaining the total hip replacement procedure, as well as, answering all questions/concerns at my pre-operation appointments and then, again, just prior to my surgery on 18 DEC 2019.
