I am a returning patient who had my right hip replaced four years ago. I would highly recommend Dr. Chang to my family and friends. He does an excellent job of explaining his procedures and what is expected before, during and post-op and, more importantly, recovery. I just had my left hip replaced 10/11/2017 and am home and on the road to recovery. I am very excited about the progress I have made in less than a week.
I have been going to Dr Chang for many years. He has replaced both my knees, and a repair on my hip. Smallest scars on my knees that I have ever seen. I wouldn't see anyone else. He's the best.
Dr. Chang literally changed my life! Over the past three years both of my hips deteriorated from osteoarthritis. I literally allowed my active life to disintegrate along with my hips. I could hardly walk, couldn't sleep, was unable to work, and was in constant pain. I did this to myself by waiting way too long to see Dr. Chang for life changing surgeries. He came highly recommended by my physicians as well as prior patients I consulted, and I recommend Dr. Chang without reservation! Don't wait!

Dr. Chang replaced my hip even after he had told me that he didn't think it would alleviate the pain I was having. The surgery left me with the leg longer than the other one and has caused even more pain and continuing problems. A second opinion confirmed that the leg with the replaced hip was indeed longer and that I would have to wear orthopedics for the rest of my life. Dr. Chang denied my pain, blamed it elsewhere and did not help me solve the problem he create. He was a big mistake.
Dr Chang is the most skilled, amazing orthopedic surgeon for hips and knees, both my daughter and I have required his services, now 4 different times.
My entire experience of having a right knee replacement with Dr. Chang and his staff was excellent.
Dr. Chang did both of my hip replacements in 2014. He is a no-nonsense doctor and explained everything both before and after the surgery. I am very satisfied with his care and have referred others to him as well.

I had Dr Chang do my hip replacement and he was great, I'm 52 and very active, skiing, biking, tennis and golf. it's been one year since I had it done and I can do everything I did before and I have had no problems at all. I need to get my right hip replaced soon and I am definitely going to have him do that one also. He will gladly answer any questions you have so write down any concerns and bring it with you.A+ Dr for hip replacement!
