The experience was very professional and I felt like the nurses and doctor cared. The nurses and Dr. K was efficient but what I liked the most was not having to sit in exam room a long time.
I was so very happy with my visit, Dr. K took her time and explained everything to me.
Dr. K has been seen me over last several years and performed multiple surgeries on my ankles. I understand her style more now that I’ve had another orthopedic surgeon to compare with. They are both excellent doctors, but have very different ways of interacting with patients. I like that Dr. K brings her laptop in the room with you and shows you exactly what’s going on and will explain anything and everything to you. She doesn’t rush in and out of the room. Very efficient. I never have to wait. Staff very polite. If surgeon late due to surgery I am notified & options offered. She educated me & takes time to draw pictures !! I have had several surgeries. The surgical post op coarse provided in written form, f/u surgery appts. made. Excellent.
Dr. Kowalchuk is a great foot and ankle surgeon. I have had surgery by her twice with great results. Her appointments are efficient and run on time, and her assistant Elizbeth is very helpful. Pre-op and operative care at Emory John's Creek was also excellent.
She agreed to take over my wife's difficult case and has been very concerned, caring and attentive to our needs.
I would recommend Dr. Kowalchuk in a heart beat. After having a very painful foot for years she fixed my foot and NO PAIN now. She listens well is very caring and a perfectionist. Doctor K is my hero.

Excellent surgeon who focuses on the real issues
Each of my five encounters with Dr. Kowalchuk have demonstrated her compassion, knowledge and willingness to help. I would highly recommend her for anyone with foot problems.
