Dr. Smith is an excellent surgeon. I needed to have an emergency back surgery (lower lumbar fusion), and Dr. Smith was there every step of the way. He kept my family and my primary doctor informed before, during and after surgery. He made himself available. He visited me at the hospital, and he made me feel at ease. He also provided great care after surgery, and it is remarkable how far I have come at the age of 67.
