I ended up in Dr. Shearer’s care following a vehicle collision that resulted in compound fracture of my right arm radius and ulna. I am thankful for the orthopedic surgeon at Marin General Hospital, who was humble enough about performing the ORIF procedure on a shattered mess of bones, to send me to 3M Surgical Specialties for repair. Dr. Sherer is the goat! 🐐 he has an amazing team and was very personable and kindly dealt with all my anxious questions. Very grateful for ucsf care.
Dr. Shearer was great to work with. He was communicative, compassionate, and very expeditious with his team. It really helped me prepare for my procedure being able to chat about the plan of how things were gonna go, about what to expect from many aspects. All the corresponding doctors and nurses were also great in supporting me through the process.
Excellent in all respects. I’ve just had my pre-op visit with Dr Shearer. He went through the x-rays taken at the ER carefully and informatively and in a way I could understand. He was kind and addressed my questions thoroughly and with care. I feel I am in very good hands with this doctor—thank you to him and his team.
Dr. Shearer was very thorough and helpful with my nonunion fractured tibia. He explained all of the options and the possibilities of surgery.
