I had a inguinal hernia that required surgery during Covid lockdown. I was referred to Dr Katz by my GP. Couldn’t have found a better doc/surgeon. Him and I got along well. He explained everything and didn’t beat around the bush. Surgery was quick and recovery went smooth. I’ve recommended Dr Katz to at least three other people with similar injuries that I know and will continue to do so. Dr Katz is a skilled and busy surgeon, with a very good office experience. However he seems to take a very cookie cutter approach to each case so if you have something extenuating like being on MAT, he isn't going to alter what he does to appropriately manage your pain. When I brought this up to him, he tried to put it on my pain management doc who has no privileges at the hospital he operated at and whom he didn't consult himself, and he simply shrugged at the criticism.
Dr Katz is superb, i was taken into hospital in an emergency, the hospital contacted him and he came immediately, i really cannot speak highly enough of the care that i received from Dr Katz and Milford Hospital. i would recommend his services without second thought Thank you so much Dr. Katz
