Dr M is an excellent Surgeon. He explained my case so that I had no questions. He was very comforting and I felt completely comfortable and safe in his care. God bless you Dr M :)
Dr. Mauterer recently performed my left side inguinal hernia repair. From the beginning, I knew I was in the right place. His manner is calm and kind, and he immediately put me at ease about the procedure by taking his time and answering all of my questions. He followed through with an excellent experience, all things considered since surgery is never exactly fun, and two weeks out I am doing great. Could not be more pleased and relieved and cannot recommend Dr. Mauterer highly enough.
I was recommemded by a Lourdes emergency physician to Dr. Mauterer, the "official" hospital surgeon, for urgent hernia surgery in the spring of 2017. I discovered about a month after surgery that he, the "official" hospital surgeon, is out of my insurance network--a common insurance provider. About a month after that, the surgery failed, so I found an in-network surgeon at Baptist Health to repair Dr. Mauterer's work.
