dr king did a shoulder surgery on me that he messed up very bad . resulting in infections and 3 more surgerys by other surgeons to try to correct. I know have very little use of my hand and arm he should have his license revoked
I had a hip replacement just 7 weeks ago and at times forget it was done. Outstanding result - highly recommend Dr. King for orthopedic surgical matters.
Dr. King is the best surgeon I have ever encountered. He was so personable and real with me through my first surgery. I am a dancer and was highly nervous about having a hip labrum repair surgery, but I was back to dance remarkably fast and with no pain. In the near future I will need my other hip repaired, and I will absolutely be returning to Dr. King. Such a good experience and wouldn't go to anyone else. Thanks Dr. King!
I made my appointment with Dr. King and then read the reviews afterwards - I was skeptical but thought I'm going to go and make my own opinion. I was glad I did, after seeing the assistant first (Scott, who was VERY nice and knowledgeable) Dr. King came in and was very through, he took the time to listen to me and then gave me a couple options. When I went to Physical Therapy they knew of Dr. King and said nothing but good things about him. So for a first time impression - I was impressed&happy!
Failed to even review the x-rays taken. Proposed possible diagnosis. Provided no information on how to treat. Discarded information provided to him. Treated with condescension and arrogance. *
He's a hot shot with a knife. I'd prefer to have a doctor that cares about the treatment of his patients and is willing to take the time to explain process, options and the actual injury rather than handing that off to the assistant like I'm not worth his time. He was unprofessional, used foul language and I'm not sure he read my MRI. What may seem like an easy 1-2 easy surgery to him, is someone's body and everything to them. Possibly even their 1st surgery ever. It's scary.
Dr King was hired by my workers comp health manager firm to look at my health issues relatedto my work comp injury. He referred me to the mri clinic in the basement of his offices, which he admits that he has an interest in. Once he got the results back, he clearly lied to me about the seseriousness of my injury. He down played it and released me back to work with no restrictions. I was not buying it. I had a second opinion of the mri and was made aware of just how much damage was done.
Dr. King and his office staff deserves five stars. He was very kind and helped me get back to running!
