Dr. Simai is an amazing and knowledgeable doctor. Mr. Kahlani is an excellent physician assistant and nurses are amazing. I have trusted this practice since my children's birth.
Both my wife and I are physicians and the only doctor we trust for our kids care is Dr. Simai! His knowledge is exceptional but as important are his bedside manners and personality which are truly stellar. If you are considering Dr. Simai as your pediatrician... it’s a no brainer, you will be thrilled with this choice!
Dr. Simai is the most caring, professional doctor I have ever met. He combines the patience and charm of an old-school doctor with the education of a recent graduate. My kids HATED all doctors until we switched to Dr. Simai's practice. Now, when one has an appointment, they all want to come along! His office staff is amazingly friendly and flexible.
Very educated and up to date. Dr. Simai is all smiles and caring towards his patients and understands the parents' concerns. He is attentive and listens. Dr. Simai knows how/when to reassure versus the time to look outside the box. Staff is friendly and warm towards the kids. Highly recommend!
Dr. David Simai has been our pediatrician since he first opened his Cedarhurst practice over 10 years ago. Staff is super friendly and courteous, very helpful. Very clean office. You are always welcomed with a smile, especially when you schedule your appointment ahead of time. There is little to no waiting time. My children love going because they get organic lollipops and stickers as prizes.
Our son was throwing up consistently for two years. We were told it was just bad reflux and he had to grow out of it. After moving and switching to Dr Simai, he told us to change our sons diet. Less dairy and to throw away his bottles. We were extremely skeptical because our son is a very picky eater and loves dairy. After a few days, he began to eat chicken, fish and even steak and meat!!! Dr. Simai is such an outstanding Doctor. My children are so lucky to be cared for by such a warm and loving Doctor who bends down for a hug when they come in! Dr. Simai will come into the office after hours just for me if I have an emergency. During our last well visit, Dr. Simai taught my son self-defense to help with bullying in school, and Dr. Simai did not end the visit until my son looked like he was ready to defend himself! Dr. Simi is a fountain of knowledge. He is caring, spends suficient time for a full evaluation and what is most important he answers all of your questions. He is open to hear about non-conventional methods of healing. Most doctors are closed to what they did not learn in medical school. He is patient, calm and does not make you feel in a rush when you are in the examinning room.
