It was worth the drive. Peds in the area just weren’t working out for us. Dr. Dimitroff was recommended by my doula and finally decided to make the drive and it was worth it. He seemed so genuine. Willing to have a conversation rather than demean or judge. Felt very comfortable and welcomed. Baby girl seemed pretty happy, too, compared to her previous doctor.
Dr. Dimitroff is hands down the best pediatrician I've dealt with. We have gone through too many doctors from Valpo to Chicago and he is very knowledgeable, thoughtful and caring. He always takes as much time as is needed and always has a well thought out answer.
I don't know that I have the words to adequately describe how thankful I was that we were able to get in to see Dr. Dimitroff. Over the weekend my son had gotten very ill. We had just moved from Valpo to Crown Point and I was nervous to take him into an unfamiliar urgent care. I tried contacting his regular pediatrician, but seeing as it was the weekend, they were closed. We remembered that Dr. Dimitroff had started a new practice and gathered the info.
