I have been going to Dr. DeChellis for about 6 months now. Being in the medical field for 38 years myself and worked along side many doctors. I have found Dr. DeChellis to be extremely knowledgable and professional. He is kind and caring and listens to your sysmptom. He diagnosed my problem when other doctors just kept blowing me off. Dr. Dechellis and his staff are knowledgeable, professional and skilled in their care. They address all of my concerns within a reasonable time period. They are welcoming and put me a ease immediately.

I found Dr. Dechellis rude. Trying to get pain medication for my mother and I understand there are rules to be followed, but there are ways to treat people with respect. When I tried to explain to him that we were upset at the situation and it would be best to end the discussion, do the things he wanted, and come back in two weeks as he wanted, thus giving us time to "digest" and calm down, he responded by saying he would not have a hostile patient and walked out of the room. We search again.
I can't say I would recommend him, it took roughly 3 weeks to get my records sent to his office (She said they were faxed 3 times, his staff said they never received them). I finally receive a call saying they have them & the Doctor has gone over them BUT he says I'm "not a candidate for his program" I have numerous conditions he treats & I wasn't given a reason why he feels I'm not a candidate
He listens to not only what the patient wants but even their family. He has ensure to give myself a path to recovery with very few bumps. Even when i was hesitant not only him but his staff ensures to make you comfortable. He is well informed and gives all information upfront. He does not throw medications around. He is upfront and direct. I can not thank him enough for helping myself and my family during a time where a previous doctor advise I did not have CRPS and tell me it was in my head.
Dr. DeChellis is very helpful. He thought outside of the box and didn't just go through the motions of what the referring doctor thought was going on. Explains things well and answers questions.
Very impressed with my 1st appt. Actually spent time with me AND my wife (about 30 min.) to explain my problem, treatment options, and prognosis. Excellent with bedside manner, expertise, and compassion. Made me feel like he actually wanted to help me! Gave me a spinal injection that was totally painless except for the first pinch for anesthetic. He more than impressed me!
