Dr Neujahr is a wonderful Dr. He always takes time to make sure you are doing good. I’ve had my lung transplant for 9 years now and all is doing well. I feel good. And I have lots of energy. He always gives great advice.
This doctor along with the Transplant Team at Emory University have given my wife a new lease on life. She received a double lung transplant in June of 2022 under the care of Dr.Neujahr and a multitude of other excellent physicians. His knowledge and expertise related to pulmonary disease and care are outstanding and second to none and I trust my wife's care to help completely. Thank you Dr. Neujahr and the team at Emory for all you done for my wife and myself.
I question the negative post about David Neujahr...that is not the David Neujahr that I know so well. David has treated me since 2011. I am a lung transplant recipient. His bedside manner is just awesome...he is kind, funny, and very, very competent. I would not likely be alive today without his excellent advice and counsel over the years. I look forward every year to my annual post transplant visit. David is incredibly fun to talk with and he is my hero.
This person does not deserve to see patients. He has absolutely no bedside manner. He has never seen my daughter before today and he said she was taking up a bed in the hospital and did not look sick. My daughter has been living with Cystic Fibrosis for almost 27 years and for anyone especially a pulmonary dr to say that to a CF patient he is ignorant and uneducated! We have asked this dr to call us back and meet us in our daughters room with other colleagues. Let's see if he does. Momma bear is not happy!
