I would and have recommended Dr. Hillsgrove to family members and friends. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, professional and takes the time to listen to you never making you feel rushed. His staff is also professional, courteous and helpful. I had a partial knee replacement and recovered quickly with no issues.
I've seen Dr.Hilsgrove on three Occaasions for treatment of Arthritis in both knees. He showed genuine concern for My pain, recmended and applied Procedures that greatly relieved My pain and clearly explained Other courses of action that could be taken if necessary He not only relieved my pain but my concerns as well. I.would without hesitation recommend him.
He was dismissive and patronizing. He actually recommended I only exercise my core because my knee locks up. I cannot emphasize enough what an embarrassment he is to his profession. AVOID him at all costs!!!
I was referred to Dr. Hillsgrove for bursitis in hip. First visit did x-rays & indicated slight arthritis and bursitis. Was given a cortisone shot and told this should fix the problem - it didn't. 2nd appointment - had to wait for 45 minutes in waiting room. 2nd cortisone shot and told 50% of patients need 2nd shot and this would fix the problem - it didn't. Called again & left message. Nurse called, left message referring me to another doctor for surgical intervention! Very poor care.
