Dr David Lyons is an excellent, respected surgeon. I am a very grateful older patient. Because of his excellent surgery...I am able to see better...and I look better....as many people have exclaimed!😉

Tried to schedule my son who has optic nerve hypoplasia an appointment. Was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. Then I was basically told they didn’t want to see my son Bc he has Tricare. Might possibly be why you have 3 stars? Military members insurance isn’t good enough? Wow!

My daughter sustained a severe eye injury in a mountain biking accident and we thought she was going to lose her eye. I am a surgeon and sent photographs of the eye to a friend who forwarded them to the Chief of Occuloplastic Reconstruction at Harvard. We were ready to get on a plane to try to save her eye. The Harvard oculoplastic said "don't waste the time.... Go see Dr David Lyon in right there in Kansas City". I would suggest AVOIDING Dr. David Lyons of the Sabates group. I had to have my surgery he was responsible for redone by another doctor because it felt as if I has glass particles in eye, I got lid drooping & had double vision after surgery that in 8 wks a did not go away. Know of other unfortunate patients
