Possibly one of the worst physician visits I have had. Waited months for the appointment, waited an hour in the office past appointment time. Dr Auerbach's initial words were "Why are you here". Incredible - he did not read the referral script? He seemed bothered or annoyed. I was there for ocular migraines - which can include headaches but not necessarily. He rushed through the appointment. I underwent cataract surgery with Dr. Auerbach at Eye Physicians of Central Florida. The first procedure, performed on my left eye on March 7, 2023, had excellent results. However, when Dr. Auerbach performed cataract surgery on my right eye on March 24, 2023, the outcome was extremely disappointing. I developed a wrinkled retina, which has resulted in persistent blurry vision and a visible distortion in my right eye. I was referred to Dr. Auerbach by my optometrist for an issue w pain and a droopy eyelid. He barely looked at me when he entered the room and obviously didn’t listen because I was referred out to a plastic surgeon. It seems the fact that I’ve been experiencing pain for a while now, was irrelevant and since whatever blood test came back negative, that was their next course of action.
