I had a very good experience with surgery to remove cataracts in both eyes. The practice is very busy, but everyone was helpful and friendly, especially during the actual surgeries. My GP recommended Dr. Auerbach. He moves fast between patients on the follow up visits, in my case everything was fine, he took time to answer all my questions, and also had assistants who were helpful and very capable. Dr. Auerbach is a very knowledge Dr. But, trying to call the office is a nightmare as you are put on hold and told something like you are 20th in the Que. And, they never call or email you to remind you of your appointment. Since the appointments are usually made 1 year apart it is easy to forget if you are diagnosed with an illness and are undergoing treatments.
Had to reschedule a couple of appointments with this office due to the fact my husband had a horrible crash on an e-bike and has a traumatic brain injury and has been in the hospital since February. I guess Dr. Auerbach thinks this isn't a valid excuse for rescheduling. I wont be wasting my time with this Dr anymore and will be letting the retina Dr that recommended me to him what a crock this practice is. God forbid people don't have an unexpected emergency you will be banished
Friendly and efficient staff. Seen in a reasonable amount of time. Dr. explained everything thoroughly.
