I’ve been seeing Dr. Ahlberg for almost 3 years. He prescribes my medication only, I have my own therapist to talk to and help me out through rough times. Dr. Ahlberg really cares about his patients and I enjoy my short visits to get my medication renewed. He’s very professional and I highly recommend him and his staff.
DO NOT use this practice. The office staff is unprofessional, and their customer service is non-existent.
I saw this doctor for 2-3 months before I was Discharged without any reasonable explanation. I have PTSD, Bipolar, ADHD, Anxiety and Depression. I was a victim of Domestic Violence and my talk therapist recommended I see my doctor for my newer anxiety and depression symptoms. I joined my TeleMed call in tears and Dr. Ahlberg cut me off in the midst of explaining my situation stating that he does not deal with anything “Legal”. I tried explaining that I wasn’t wanting any help with legal services I was only wanting to talk ab... read more
Dr. Ahlberg keeps it objective. Some of the 1star reviews describe a short interaction, this doesn't mean carelessness. If you need to hang out with someone to feel more cared for then you probably need a service dog or a therapist, I guess both. Dr. Ahlberg has been professional and I am sure that if I needed more attention he will point out the best recommendations that he can give. He is not my cognitive/emotional therapist. We just discuss just issues surrounding medication for ADHD and my handling of the medication and ... read more
he is a great doctor he always makes time even on med checks to talk to his patients.
Very satisfied with my initial consultation; was able to get all my questions answered and I am hopeful that he will be able to help
Felt like it was “cattle medicine “. Provider spent less than 5 minutes per visit and would only address one issue per visit. Thought giving you ice cream at checkout would make everything better.
I used to see Dr. Ahlberg when he was at Coastal Carolina Psychological Health Services and he was cool, listened, and seem to be genuinely interested in helping. I followed him to JCMC Mental Health because of that. Once there he seem to be less and less interested, I barely spent 5 minutes in a room with him, then when I was having other health issues he ended my care and sent me somewhere else. He had the other Dr with blonde hair forgot her name give me some lie how it was better for me, smh
This is not a place to go if you need help. They just hand out pills!! I would not bring my dog here. You get maybe five minutes with a real doctor. Other than the five minuets you get with him you are with young people that could care less about you and your problems they just want to make money. When the doctor does come in he is in a hurry and to busy to listen to you he talks about you with the other staff like your not even there. I gave a one cause you can't choose zero!!
