My sister traveled out of town and gets hospitalized with a pretty serious condition. I thought the best plan was to get her in the care of her PCP once she was discharged. Biggest mistake EVER. She needed general surgeon and urologist follow up within a week. The team refused to help citing she needed to see him first before he would write the referral which was longer than the week, all the while having two drainage bags and a catheter.
