Dr. Rometto was the worst doctor that I have ever seen. He refused to allow me to control my own insulin pump and when I would ask him questions he wouldn’t answer and just said “trust me ” and “it will be better than yesterday.” He would constantly raise his voice at me when I asked him questions. He also had terrible bed side manner and made me feel like I wasn’t being taken seriously. The most horrible experience i have ever had with a doctor and his staff multiple phone calls over 11 months 2 appointment because doctor refused to return my call made me set up appointment to talk to him still no resolution upmc should be ashamed to have this type of service

I love Dr. Rometo. He listens to me and he actually gets it, and honestly he has changed my mind about my options specifically because he did listen to my concerns and gave me information that addressed those concerns - he wasn't TRYING to change my mind, just making sure I was informed. He understands that any solutions for me will need to fit with me and my lifestyle or they won't work at all. He's the first doctor in a long time to make me feel like there is some hope.
