Felt disrespected and not taken seriously. Doctor became upset when I said I wanted to discuss with supports prior to starting a medication. Read the notes that he wrote about the questions I asked about my PCOS diagnosis and insulin resistance, and he called the questions baseless. Kept saying I wouldn’t take things seriously due to being a college aged patient. Wrote symptoms in notes that I never reported. If I could give this doctor zero stars, I would. UPMC should be disgusted to employ a “doctor” such as this one. I have met this man one time years ago, and he finds the need to control my life through the CRNP in your office when he couldn’t even pick me out of a line up of people. This doctor and obviously UPMC who backs him up with his AWFUL and INHUMANE practices should be ashamed of themselves. The most horrible experience i have ever had with a doctor and his staff multiple phone calls over 11 months 2 appointment because doctor refused to return my call made me set up appointment to talk to him still no resolution upmc should be ashamed to have this type of service .filled out requested form and called still no response
Absolutely the worst office will not call back keeps talking back and forth on the after care vist notes like i dont exist . You will not pick up the phone . I got through yesterday only to be told you guys come before my job . If i could give you zero stars I would . Top it off the doctor himself wont even answer my question. I wouldnt recommend you to anyone. Biggest mistake was even booking with him.
Dr. Rometto was the worst doctor that I have ever seen. He refused to allow me to control my own insulin pump and when I would ask him questions he wouldn’t answer and just said “trust me ” and “it will be better than yesterday.” He would constantly raise his voice at me when I asked him questions. He also had terrible bed side manner and made me feel like I wasn’t being taken seriously.
