This is a good doctor . He goes by the rules and he cares about people in pain . He goes above and beyond to help people in real pain !
After having the same Dr for 18 years I reached out to Dr. George. I am so glad I did! He was the type of Dr I was looking for and needed. Not only does he treat you correctly, but explains the process entirely! He FOLLOWS up! There are no uncomfortable reminders to him to go over test results or progress. He thinks out of the box, for example I have a huge thyroid issue and my numbers were reading normal. A small adjustment not only decreased my thyroid nodules, but I feel much better.
I am a 17 yr. Chronic pain patient. I relocated here just over 6yrs. Ago. After having the same doctor for over 15yrs. Trying to find a good pain doctor in this town has been the most unpleasant experience of my life. My pain was managed very well, until moving here. Every dr. I contacted told me "we dont prescribe pain meds" 3 mo. of terrible forced withdrawal, i found dr. George. The ONLY doc in this town to help me. I am very fortunate to have found him.
I am a 65 year old female with an unusual form of arthritis that is excruciatingly painful. It has no cure at this time, but thanks to a wonderful doctor, (besides my PCP), Dr. Darryl George in Roseburg has not only saved my life, but kept me going and trying many different things to help through the seven years of this frightful odyssey so far. This brave doctor takes chronic pain patients regularly, but only if they are genuine and willing to follow his necessarily strict guidelines. Try him!
I have been a long term patient of doctor Georges for about 9 years. He helped me get my life back after a car crash. Not only did he help me he actually wanted to help me. He is one of the best doctors I have been too and trust me I have seen a lot. He has never stopped caring and always takes the time to explain anything I need to know. He will be my PC as long as he is around or I am:)
Dr. George is one of the best Doctors I have been to. He has no problem taking the time to explain things and answer any questions and his staff is always very kind. He is a very thorough Doctor and will expect all your paperwork to be in order and for you to follow the rules for pain management but in my opinion that is a good thing. Because it is a smaller office getting through immediately is not always an option, but any time I have left a message they have always returned my calls promptly.
I am 62 years old,a husband and a father to a 14 year old Daughter.A few years ago,I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer They said my chance of living was less than 10%. With modern medicine and through the grace of God i am alive.Due to the radiation and chemo treatment I have lost my thyroid glands and unable to create any saliva.I have chronic pain and throat. I have been seeing Dr. George for more than 2 years thanks to Him,I have got my normal life back. I highly recommend Him
Dr George is the first doctor in many years that takes the time to listen to you about your health issues. I have always gone to a clinic and have been seen for approx 5 minutes then the dr is out the door
Most doctors today simply want to line their pockets & refuse to take chronic pain patients. I was a restaurant manager and workaholic for 15 yrs' ,I have spinal stenosis ,severe siatica,narrowing of spine. I have arthritis in both knees and left hip. I have severe tendonitus in my right shoulder and neck. I get spasms in my back and my legs,mostly the left side and two blown discs. Dr.George accepted me as a patient and gave me quality of life back to take care of my dying Veteran husband.
