I have over twenty years in the U.S. Military Army Vet. I was extremely disappointed with the way in which Dr. Burgos treated my family and me. Misdiagnosed. This doctor has not been supportive to me. Wait times are extremely long, and I did not feel respected. I was overcharged by this doctor's staff's inability to keep up with even the documents I presented.

Dr. Burgos didn’t properly diagnose my PTSD. I’m a 30+ year military vet, and understand what it’s like to feel neglected by others who lack in sympathy. I was incorrectly diagnosed, and had to spend time in the ER due to his ineptitude. I couldn’t believe his demeanor. Yet I have tremendous respect for the doctors and nurses in this country, and for mental health as a whole. Mental Health ought not be treated lightly, and I encourage all to find a doctor whom you trust and believe in.

Dr. Burgos is a controlling man. As a former neurosurgeon at Duke University, I was subject to a psychiatric treatment with Dr. Dante Burgos, due to underlying psychiatric needs. The great deal of respect I have to this profession is not to be taken lightly. Dr. Burgos is extremely inconsiderate in regard to mannerisms and manners, but mostly it breaks my heart that he yelled at me when I had bipolar disorder. My misdiagnosis led me to the Emergency Room, and Burgos didn’t even lift his sanctions. Like, tremendously hurt, pl... read more

As a disabled man, I came to Dr. Burgos for help in a wheelchair. I thought that the tone of his voice and his demeanor were hostile. He really was a person who had a hidden agenda. I've been seeking psychiatric help for 20 years and counting. I was a COVID-19 frontline Registered Nurse before I lost everything once I got sick. I didn't have much funds but with the little money I did, I came to Dr. Burgos and explained my state of trauma. He said a few words and I felt Extremely Disrespected by the way he valued his time mor... read more

As a US Marine Vet, I was shocked at his blatant disregard for PTSD. It is extremely tough on my wife and kids because this misdiagnosis led me to the ER. I am traumatized by my experience with Dr. Burgos, and the trouble it has caused for us financially, in terms of shady billing practices, is beyond repair. Just regretting choosing him as my doctor, but I will always have deep respect for the things that psychiatrists do in hospital settings like his. I always encourage others to take mental health seriously.

Dr. Burgos was treating my PTSD, and what he did was exactly the opposite of what I requested from him. He misdiagnosed me, which made matters for my health even worse, and has an unusual policy of charging extra than what is expected upfront. I'm a retired US Navy officer. His communication skills are poor, and came across as too much of a person that jokes around whenever he gets a chance. Doesn't take his role serious enough to be my MD.

Dr. Burgos was unprofessional in the way he spoke to my mother who was the patient and to me as well. He told my mother she was left to die. That is not how you talk to a patient who suffers from depression. When confronted he was very rude and told me not to questions what he does.

Dr. Burgos was my psychiatrist from 2000 to when he left the Holiner Group in Mckenny, TX. At the time, he was studying Bipolar Disorder in adolescents and teenagers in order to create a Junior Bipolar diagnosis. I was "diagnosed" with this by him in 2000, when I was 9, and given Lithium-based medication despite his knowing that I was severely traumatized, and despite the medication having not been studied in minors. That medication made me emotionally numb for 15 years, caused me to struggle with my weight to this day, and ... read more
