Never listened, kept me and spouse returning without resolution, kept charging my credit card , ordered a thousand dollars worth of unnecessary labs without my knowledge that insurance wouldn't cover. Nice staff, terrible doctor.
Arrogant and rude, and obviously has no clue what he is doing. Advised me that I had a carcinoid cancer tumor after 5 minutes of meeting me based on my symptoms (basically a death sentence), ordered CAT scan, turns out no tumor and no cancer. It turned our lives upside down! Now, at this last visit, still having no idea what is causing my pain, he orders a sleep study. ???? I won't be back, his arrogance and "you're just a number" attitude is enough to make me never go back, what a nightmare.
The most dedicated caring and compassionate and competent doctor I have had the blessing of coming across . I struggle with a rare autoimmune disease , Bechets . since moving from Charlottesville I tried to have doctors other than him for convenience and was always disappointined. I can count on him any time to hear my concerns , make a plan and be there for me . He even takes time to take phone calls from his patients in need for updates . Forever grateful for this man !
Dr. Sawyer is the worst doctor my mother has seen in years! He has terrible bed side manner, will not educate his patients when he gives a diagnosis. Don't even think about asking questions and having him give you an an answer. Dr. Sawyer will actually refuse to answer a question, he will say that's a question for your next visit! I would not recommend this doctor to anyone that wants medical answers or to be treated like a patient. You will only be a chart and pay check!
Dr. did not listen to me in regards to previous results and symptoms. Made inappropriate political comments and other comments not needed by a healthcare professional.
