Please stay away from Dr Blander. My father in law has been in the hospital after procedures with him for the last 4 months. With a know UTI issue post procedure he refuses to maintain antibiotics as necessary to completely resolve his issue. He has been Septic twice post procedure and he refused to follow up with appropriate testing and antibiotic treatment. Stay away please!!
Dr Blander was kind informative patient and a good communicator. He performed my surgery was very upfront about my diagnosis and put me at ease with the plan. I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon at a time when I was frightened and looking for concrete information.
I've seen Dr . Blander three times. He will see me one more time before we move ahead with surgery. He is a good diagnostician who makes careful decisions about what he's planning to do for surgery. I would, so far, recommend meeting with him. He puts you at ease and is a good listener. Update will come after surgery.

Their office is horrible. Nobody ever answers the phone or returns your calls, no matter who you leave a message for. I must have tried to get in touch with someone 5 times! Not to mention he prescribed me an antibiotic that gave me an autoimmune disease!
I was referred to Dr Blander for what turned out to be a kidney stone in my ureter. Dr blander was honest and clear about what the issue was and what could and should be done. I decided on a Lithotripsy which he performed a couple weeks after the diagnosis. That procedure was successful. I have nothing but good things to say agout Dr Blander
