I had a difficult surgery that required the removal of mesh and the cleaning out of an area that developed an abcess after a bladder sling surgery done by another doctor. He talked to me honestly and openly about the surgeries and answered all my questions. After the surgery he explained that I needed additional care for the wound created by the abcess and helped get the home care I needed. He was always helpful and caring. I would recommend him to family and friends without hesitation.
The doctor and his staff aim to achieve this goal... "to deliver compassionate personalized care to each and every patient". I most certainly experienced this as they've always made me feel like I'm their most important patient. My condition was accurately diagnosed and treatment was begun during my very first visit. He explained my medical condition and the steps necessary to resolve it clearly, answering all my questions and concerns.

Dr. Gilbert was spot on with his diagnosis and treatment of my prostate cancer. His recommendations aligned with all of the research I did. I never felt pressured into any one treatment option and he even offered resources for me to use in making my decision. His post-op care has been very supportive and encouraging.
I saw dr Gilbert for a recurring kidney infection. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable and communication with him was very easy. I was able to resolve my problems with a quick diagnosis and will continue to see him for check ups. I highly recommend dr Gilbert.

I found Doctor Gilbert last year and I'm so happy I did. He is very caring and always listens to my concerns . He is very up to date with Interstitial Cystitis which is a incurable disease that really can alter a persons life. I feel like I finally have a doctor who truly cares about me as a person and my illness. Thank you Dr Gilbert and your staff !

This guy cares more about his smoothie then he cares for his patients. He pushed surgery then once he got all he could from my insurance he wanted nothing more to do with me. He is nice at first but after a few visits his true colors show. I requested to see him immediately after my surgery and he refused. Not a good doctor at all. His staff is rude and always seem like they don't have a clue.

I really like Dr. Gilbert. He sits with us during our appointment and I never feel like he is rushed. He answers all of our questions and explains things in a way we can understand. He is very easy to talk to and is very knowledgeable, not only in urology, but my friend (who is the patient) has a brain injury and Dr. Gilbert seems to understand a lot about that as well.
