Saved my life because of an ascending aorta aneurysm that was volatile. December 2016 Couldn’t say thank you enough
On Friday August 26, 2016, around 8pm, I had an ascending and descending aortic aneurysm rupture at the same time. I got to Pekin ER about 11pm, by 6:30am on the 27th they determined that I needed to get into surgery asap, somewhere else. They took me to St. Francis in Peoria. Dr. Ciaburri performed the surgery to repair the aorta and replaced my aortic valve. I owe my life to the skill and experience of this man and his surgical team.
