This doctor kept messing up his med names and had no clue what he was telling me. Im in healthcare too and he just stared when i asked him some serious questions. Avoid this doctor you have been warned

I have been a patient of Dr. Eric Lam since the summer of 2015. I credit this gentle caring very knowledgeable man with my life. I have been gravely ill and would not be here if not for him. There is never a time when he is too busy to deal with my ongoing post surgical issues and checks to make sure I’m doing OK following any procedure. He goes above and beyond for his patients.
Called the office and told them I have a flare up, need earlier appointment and hoping to get a prescription faxed to my pharmacy. Receptionist said she will pass on the message to the doctor and expect a call back. No phone reply.
Dr. Lam is caring and expert in Gastroenterology. He is a very kind and gentle physician. Expert in his area and the areas surrounding. He listens to you and is always there for your best interest.
This doctor is extremely brilliant,kind,thorough, caring and tries in every way to help his patients. I have multiple health issues and this doctor is one of my three favourite specialists I have. And I have seen 100's of doctors over the years, from the Children's Hospital,VGH,Lion's Gate,St.Paul's. And all up and down Vancouver island, Victoria,Nanaimo,PA. I have been a patient of Dr. Eric Lam since 2008. Along with his gentle and patient manner his treatment of my end stage liver disease has allowed me to have a lead a full and happy life since my diagnosis. I enjoy our office visits and always leave feeling I am fortunate to have him on my side. His assistant Amy is always a delight, easy to talk to and very kind. I know he will continue to monitor my progress and do everything he can to support my being well. Thank you Dr. Lam!
