Dr. Grundy is very pleasant. She has a wonderful bedside manner. She seems to really know her stuff and she explains everything so you can understand. She thorough. I would highly recommend her.
Thought she was a good doctor at first until I found out the truth. 1. She has no regard for the HIPPA. My operations manager was apauled how she openly discussed my medical with him and everyone at a health and safety seminar that I got her invited to where I worked. 2. She gave everyone at this health and safety seminar that she was only interested in making money!! not helping people. In med school there is a saying "Don't look for Zebras at a horse race." Dr. Grundy and the entire staff at South Shore Foot & Ankle are Amazing! I was escorted back to an exam room on-time for my scheduled appointment. Dr. Grundy was in my exam room immediately and with just one look at my feet, was confident that she knew what was wrong and exactly what needed to be done to help me. A follow-up MRI confirmed her diagnosis. Without delay, I was put on Dr. Grundy's surgery schedule. I am now a few weeks post-op. Other doctors have never dealt with severe chemical burns or trench foot caused by cold wet work boots. The only thing other doctors do is guess and jump to conclusions. They were treating me as if it were a diabetic foot wound and all m ost killed me. I wish other doctors would experience what I went through; maybe they would get their head out of the box. They could al learn from Dr. Grundy.
I had a broken toe that healed on its own but then would not bend. I just wanted it to bend normally again. She said the bone was just 'bad' after looking at xrays and an MRI. All she was willing to do was steroid shots or fuse the joint surgically so that it never bends again. I got a second opinion in Chicago and the podiatrist said the bone healed great, I just needed physical therapy to get it moving again. Here I am, 1 week later, and I have regained about 80% of the movement back. Caution
I love Dr Grundy. She has the best personality and is very knowledgeable. The staff is friendly as well.
Dr. Grundy is amazing! She treats our whole family and even rebuilt my wife's foot! I wouldn't trust my care with anyone else! She's fantastic!!!
