I've long been a patient of Dr Barry, and find her a good doctor. However, her office manager has challenged my patience enough that I may be looking for a new doctor. In April, I had my annual physical, was charged around $495. I paid $420 that day, and the balance a few days later, when my HSA account was funded again. I've received bills/calls 3 times for that $75 balance, that was paid in early May (It's November today). Today, I received a bill in the mail, again not reflecting that $75 I paid in May. Dr. Barry is a wonderful physician with a wealth of knowledge. She never seems rushed and answers all questions with excellent recommendations. She is kind, gentle and listens to every word you say. I wish there was a way to clone Dr. Barry.

I always find the staff very helpful. Juanita spent almost 10 minutes on the phone with me this morning when they were obviously busy. She's my favorite part about the whole practice! Love Dr. Barry too, for over 20 years!

I arrive thirty minutes early to my appointment because i know I might have paper work. After that I am sent to a room where I wait for over an hour before a PA arrives and tells me that they are checking on my insurance because it’s only been 362 days since my last annual screening. She tells me that I won’t be charged for the visit according to my insurance and then I sit for another 30 minutes before a FNP walks in and finally does the ten minute screening. I've been a patient for 25 years, and her knowledge and level of care always impress me. And I've seen her once a month for the last 15 years, since being diagnosed with Type II diabetes. Not many doctors can tell you about how various drugs work or interact - both brand-name and generic - but she can. She's put several pharmacists to shame when they weren't able to answer questions that she could, such as why you shouldn't have grapefruit products if you take a statin drug for cholesterol.

Came in for assistance, was explicitly lied to and treated badly by staff and NP. Ended up escalating to Dr. Barry where I did get a resolution. Not worth the headache and added stress. I was initially satisfied with her treatment as her apology seemed sincere, and I received the treatment I was initially denied. But after reviewing multiple other complaints - she is fully aware of how unprofessional her staff is and consciously allows harmful and incompetent treatment in her office.

I love dr Barry !! She is beautiful inside and out.. she really cares about You ! She takes time to listen , and always wants the best for your health .. her helpers are also very kind and compassionate also .. Im grateful to have a doctor that I can depend on .

If you have Medicare ... run! I am in a Medicare nightmare. My wife loves her doctor and the care ... but if you are on Medicare, even with a supplement, you may want to look elsewhere. They require immediate payment. OK ... I can handle that. They've told me that they will file with Medicare but not with my United Healthcare supplement. My insurance broker has advised me that, given their policy, it will be nothing more than a huge headache for me.
